What are the options? If Man Citeh win champs ( or Chelsea) and Man Utd win the Europa and both/three all in the top 4 are there any options that lead to a 5th place finish open to the champs league? We will finish 6th and Liverpool 5th (Man united- game abandoned and they get will awarded 3 points without playing them). They always fuck us, 1986 killed Juventus fans when we finished 3rd and no European football for any Englidh teams. 2006 with that Scaloni moment at the FA Cup final. Tell me it. How do the scousers fuck us up this year?

A 5th place finish does not get Champions league under any circumstances.
It is possible, to have 5 English teams in the Champions league, but that would involve Arsenal and Chelsea winning Europa/Champions League and not finishing in the top 4.

One minor concern is that if we manage to pip Chelsea to 4th and push them into 5th, they then win the Champions League and Arsenal somehow win the Europa, then only the top 3 get Champions League.

Chelsea are our biggest danger as if we finish 4th and they win champions league in 5th ,we are then in Europa
Arsenal dont really matter if they win Europa (they wont),but then top 6 places only for Europe if they do

I thought Arsenal would have to win the UEFA and Chelsea would have to win the CL and both to finish outside the top 4 for 4th not to qualify for CL?

This is correct
Westside and Joyo are both wrong.
We can have 5 teams in the CL - if Chelsea win it and finish 5th or below, they go in with the top 4.
The worst case scenario is them finishing out of the top 4, winning the CL, plus Arsenal finishing outside the top 4 (which will happen) and winning the EL - then they both go in but only with the top 3. 4th then goes into EL

Should also add, if Man City or Chelsea win the CL and finish in the top 4 then there are no extra spaces

No, I said 5th place doesn't qualify for the champions league. It doesn't. I also said we can have 5 teams in the Champions league, if a non top 4 team wins the Europa or Champions League.

Chelsea AND Arsenal need to win in Europe AND both finish outside the top 4 to be a problem for us is we were to finish 4th.
It’s not problem though, we’ll finish 3rd

Aresnal winning EL creates extra CL place ,but doesn't affect 4th place ,only Chelsea finishing outside top 4 and winning CL means 4th is not CL...SIMPLES
